The video shows a real female body is being transferred into that of a 19th century sculpture,  Snowdrift by Edward Onslow Ford. The body of the woman seems to hover between sleep and death. The passive pose of the naked female body was often used to portray death in Victorian imagery, though it was often highly sexualized, and the connection between the female body/sex/ death is an interesting meeting point often discussed in relation to Freud’s death drive.
